Mendez has ability but he's so inconsistent it's difficult to put stock in him at this point plus I do think he's drained at the weight he's never shown that kind of glass before maybe Barthelmy does hit that hard , if Mendez wants any chance though he needs to get it past the first 3 rounds then see if the power/technique is the same.

Rances still reminds me of a boxer version of Caballero with the way he almost slaps /slings with shots plus that height this will make me take him more serious if he duplicates the 1st result.

But there was one thing that stood out most about the first fight that I always go back to why did Mendez after being hurt at the end get up then promptly walk right to Barthelmy stand in front with his hands up still can't believe that yeah he was out of it but man move away kill time oddly enough if he had done that he would have made it to the next round and we might not be getting this rematch.

I've seen Barthelemy fight three times now, once live. He's awkward looking, has skills and heart. He does punch well, but I've never seen him **** like he did versus Mendez. It lead me to believe that maybe Argenis really was drained. We'll see in a week if that's true.

Neither one of these guys are world beaters, but they're both decent fighters. I'm expecting a good sequel. Something tells me it won't end so early this time.

He is fast, tall and sitting on his punches more and if you add up that he was in the Cuban National Team, his brother an Olympic Champ and little brother is a boxer too, this is a recipe for success, he has the physical tools, background, good trainer and youth...
