Nope incorrect it was all verbal but it was indeed seen as a duck anyways and fairly so. Like i said only some of his fans gave him the benefit of the doubt everyone called him a duck, and to this day I wish he had fought zombie Rios.

As a fan of Garcia I'm extremely disappointed with the way he has handled his career. A career high payday and a chance for a bigger things with a win over Gamboa. Well crawford took that from him and deservingly so. Some of this fighters these days are beyond belief. Just take the big fights that you are suppose to when you are competing at this level.

HBO was only willing to pay for Mikey next fight with Yuri, but he ducked the Gamboa fight with a career high pay day.

Since Gamboa just took the L (in a good entertaining fashion), I hope Mikey don't think hes off the hook.

After Bob beat his azz$ in court, HBO should continue to apply the pressure on him to fight Gamboa or even Crawford now.

In fairness though, he didn't belong in there with Rios. That fight was going to happen at lightweight. Yuri has no business at 135. 126 or 130 tops. Bam Bam was also a huge lw who eventually went up soon after that fight was scratched.
