May/Maidana 2??? Floyd said he only has a couple fights left, why's he wasting his time with another Maidana fight

Maidana did pretty good with 1.5 million dollar pillow gloves on the first time around, as long as Maidana gets to wear his punchers gloves this time i'll have no complaints.

That fight was only clearly said to have been won by Floyd by the biased Vegas judges, U.S. Media and Online Floyd-worshiping nerds... everyone else knows that Maidana did no worse than a draw...

I still need to know if Maidana is getting his gloves or not... if no MX..then I'll be streaming..
So let me get this straight. You think it was close enough to warrant a draw but if anyone else disagrees and has Mayweather winning then they're Online Floyd-worshing nerds? Sounds pretty extreme lol Even most Maidana fans that had Maidana winning acknowledge it was a fight that could have gone either way. I was rooting for Maidana to upset Floyd but I scored it 7 rounds to 5 for FMJ. I also don't know how you can score the 12th round for Maidana. I rewatched that round and saw Maidana gassing out and Floyd taking over landing the more clear and effective punches.

Anyways I'm happy for Maidana that he got his rematch, I didn't think he was going to get it. However, I'd rather see Floyd fight someone else. I think Floyd will box more, using more lateral movement, fight on the outside much more and coast to a win.

Then again, who knows? Maidana already surprised me by making the first fight competitive.

Thurman has earned his shot at the big names and if you guys think he should fight one of them first, then maybe you should be requesting for Maidana to fight him (since he pulled out of the fight over a year ago) instead of supporting this pointless rematch.

And why should people worrying if the fight is close (in which it likely won't)? Maidana fought and lost to Floyd. We saw that already. Give us something new. Mayweather vs. Thurman? I'm all for that.

What I hate is, Floyd can lose the fight but win the decision. My meaning is, in the rounds Cotto and Maidana beat Floyd, they REALLY beat him. Like, it wasn't even close in those rounds. They also marked up Mayweather's face pretty bad.

But he just has to slow a fight down to be one punch at a time, win 7-8 rounds that way, and gets the decision, even though he did far less damage throughout the fight.

why isn't he a threat? Thurman can move and box, look at his fight against soto karass,he's fast and hits hard,he's not maidana who doesn't box at all, thurman is young, strong and can move,is fast too,all this he's unknown is just an excuse, floyd always says he's the ppv star, never gives credit to his opponent,so why should it matter if according to Floyd he's the main guy bringing in the ppv buys(of course a lot of us know it's not only him,but Floyd thinks he is)..not all casual fans knew who maidana was either,i think maidana was slightly more known, but it's not like he's a very known fighter to the casual fans

900K in ppv sales is great!! Its just when it comes to floyd the expectations are very high because he is the biggest draw in boxing and is expected to exceed 1 mill in buys everytime., which is why showtime gave him the deal they gave him.. but in no way is 900k bad! Just look at it didnt meet expectations.

I hope they do better with the undercards than last time. They had the right fighters, wrong matchups.

You can call me a crazy motherfuccer but i say Floyd Mayweather Jr will still do a few fights after the Showtime deal is over. Sounds crazy right? who would think such thing?

Only marking up Maidana did was from that headbutt.
