I'd like to see how his body looks when he drops down in weight. I've hardly seen boxers be better after dropping down in weight...it's generally worse...
u dont beat the fighters that he has beaten and be considered a hype job. At least not by anyone credible that is. Gamboa is a true champion with a chakpions mentality and fighting spirit. No doubt in my mind that he would have kept getting up against Crawford until he couldnt anymore.

I don't want to see Gamboa get beat up again at lightwight. At Junior lightweight, I'm fine with it.

Gamboa's Olympic Gold and usually Olympic Gold's are no joke and I don't think Gamboa's a joke by any means, quite the opposite. But he needs to be more careful who he fights in his career from this point on. I'm not saying fight tomato cans but watch the weights, I agree he don't never need to go back to 136. 130 was probably his perfect weight, there are plenty of champs there the can tangle with but for some reason he won't or can't get the fights made. Why did he never fight donaire, or Juan Lopez, or Riggo or someone???
He tried to tackle too big a fish in TC and he got his a$$ handed to him as a result.

Problem is Gamboa told Nuevo herald today that he feels ok at 135 and he likes it because he can make the weight easily. He did say however he will seek his advisers to see of he should stay at 135 or 130 or even 126. And unfortunately he also said his dad will be trainer in the future , ugggghh

Good move. He should get a real trainer while he's at it. Why not Pedro Diaz? I hope to see him fight before the year ends, there are plenty of good fights to make at 130.

Yuri and Pedro are not exactly best friends if you know what I mean
