do you ahve any idea how easy it is to pull out of a fight? david haye literally does it for publicity.

    100 million in the hole
you f#cking people are always good for a laugh.
LOL. So let me guess. After $10's of millions of dollars invested and the arena packed with fans, Floyd would be able to just walk out without any repurcussions? Yeah ok!

Pulling out months in advance is totally different from pulling out the night of. Trust me, Floyd would have been liable for all money lost by everyone involved.

fighters literally paying for softer gloves isn't a regular thing, man. they put the gloves in the contract.

floyd's team literally felt the glove, which was completely legal, and threatened not to fight because of how little padding there was. that's a b#Tch move.

casuals won't remember it, because they don't care. real fans fo the sport will remember it. floyd mayweather is not a take on all comers fighter. he's been moved carefully to maximize profit, and he knows it.

Floyd won a close fight, a fight tougher than expected, a fight where the ref allowed tactics that would likely cause point deductions for both; a fight where floyd's opponent dictated the pace and style of the fight. SO I understand the complaining after the fact.
Rematch should be very interesting and I'm looking forward to it. I think it'll be very difficult for Floyd to turn around and perform at a high level just a few months after such a tough fight and at his advanced age.

do you really speak for the en****** you mentioned above?

are you sure showtime is really getting big money from floydie?

are you sure gbp will not make a fuzz out of this, considering the recent developments between gbp and floyd?

yes, that's exactly what would have happened. mayweather can say he hurt his hands on the pads in his freaking dressing room. he can bring to light an injury that he already sustained in camp [no athlete shows up to a fight 100% healthy.] he can claim he got sick from some food. he can do whatever the f#ck he wants. he has laywers, money, leverage.

he is floyd mayweather. that's the important part in all of this. this is floyd mayweather, the most important single figure in teh history of las vegas.

he's not getting sued by MGM, showtime, or anybody else. he is the most important person to those en****** in the whole world. what don't you get?

i have a very good idea how they work by looking at the pieces involved.

what's floyds leverage if las vegas will ruin him for pulling out of a fight?

That could have maybe worked had the whole glove fiasco not took place in front of the cameras where Floyd was looking very healthy!

Fighters choosing gloves happens often , especially in big fights, it just doesn't happen as publicly as this did.

You and I have had enough debates with posters who clearly forget very basic information. This was hardly something that will register other than in the minds of those who function solely to criticize floyd.

I would agree that floyd post 2008 has been all about the dough. If you feel floyd is not, you are entitled. I would simply remind you that unless a fighter actually takes on all comers, he should be seen in the same light.

I tend to agree. Maidana has a smart team, will negotiate for the gloves he wants, and will come in knowing he came the closest to beating floyd in more than 10 years. Add to that, floyd definitely looked old the last fight and has been spendng alot of time partying and making appearances at games and TV events.

                    I'm looking forward to it.

Why wasn't there a winning bonus for Maidana?
He got robbed, he whooped Floyds little ass and landed more shots on Fraud
Not only did he beat the **** out of Floyd but he done it with Floyds ****ty little extra padded up gloves
