Loses the lawsuit? Floyd would have gotten sued by the MGM Grand, every single sponser involved in the event, Showtime, and team Maidana. Not only will Floyd not make his $32mil guarantee, he will have to pay back 10's of millions of dollars that was invested into this event by the parties involved. Sure Chino would have lost on out on his 1.5mil but he would still have options. There was no way Floyd was going to cancel this fight over gloves and be nearly $100mil in the hole after all is said and done. He bluffed and Chino took the money. It is what is it.
