Also, Maidana never used those gloves and said it was hard for him to even get his hand in them there was so much protection. Matthysse himself said the sparring glove comment so even the fellow Argentinian feels the same sentiments as so many fans. Either way, I hope Maidana uses his regular gloves next time.
