Orlando 'Phenomenon' Cruz, who became the first boxer to publicly acknowledge his ****sexuality, will again make history on August 10th as part of a card in Akron, Cleveland - the site of the GG9 2014 Gay Games being held from the 9th to 16th of August. The card is not part of these Olympics, which are held every four years and will feature 35 sports and cultural events.

Cruz (20-4-1 and 10 KO's) put together a streak of four good wins under All Star Promotions, based in Florida, but failed when he tried to win the vacant WBO featherweight to be defeated by Mexico's Orlando Salido and in his latest return he was defeated by Gamalier Rodriguez.

They are only posting this story for the gay community because in the boxing community this guy has never been relevant he lost to Salido in his coming out the closet fight and he lost in his last fight he's a D to C- class fighter at best. I thought boxingscene post stories of fighters with relevance in the sport not following some one just because there gay this isn't TMZ.

Floyd and Roy are relevant in the boxing world, and the gay boxer wasn't just in a title fight that was last Oct. he just lost a 10rnd fight in April to a nobody who he was favored against..and as for Zod we all know he wanted men to kneel before him so maybe he was gay too, I bet he liked when Superman made him kneel, but he sure was a loser in both Superman flicks so I don't know why anyone would try and be him as an alias.:gay:
