I thought Floyd only had a couple fights left, why the hell he wasting it on another Maidana fight oh well, as long as Maidana gets to wear his punchers gloves i'll have no complaints.

Nothing yo ****** ass posted has a f.uckin' thing to do with glove size. Boxing rules dictate that fights at and above 154, fighters wear 10oz gloves. And below, 8oz. But the sizes can be waived if both fighters agree. Floyd wanted to wear 8s, Cotto declined. As did DLH. Neither of which have a gotdamn thing to do with that bull**** you posted. Like I said

Having his preferred gloves will help with his comfort level as well.

Chino is the younger man and basically about to peak whilst Floyd is on the slope of decline. Don't get why Floyd is the only one allowed to make adjustments... Chino will settle down a bit in a rematch and find his range. People really think chino will fight a rematch the same way?
So Maidana was "just trying to touch" Floyd, yet landed just a handful of headshots throughout 12 rounds. And you expect Chino to load up and land flush, when he barely landed in the first fight? His "preferred" gloves wont make a difference if he can't land.

Maidana's boxing IQ isn't even close to Mayweather's. That's why Floyd won the second half of the fight and why most think that Floyd will adjust further in the rematch. The only thing that bothered Floyd (other than the illegal ****), was Maidana's OUTPUT. If Chino goes from throwing 100 punches a round, to 50-60 in the rematch (settling down, as you put it), do you seriously think Floyd will have a harder time countering?

If you can't win without your chosen gloves then you probably can't win anyway.

This rematch is pointless because I see it being easier for Floyd this time. I bet Floyd been training for the fight..

If the "surprise" isn't Manny Pacquiao then I won't be surprised at all.

Any boxing fan shouldn't be surprised if Mayweather fights Cotto for the 160 lineal. Other than those two fights nothing else can be all that surprising.

Unless its like GGG at 154/160 or Bernard Hopkins at 165.
