Good point, and please allow me to add on. Was Maidana wearing his special gloves in the Broner fight? Was Maidana able to stop Broner? Maidana gave props to Floyd for keeping his word, and giving him a rematch (even after a very dirty fight). I wonder what Maidana thinks about Broner's rematch clause?

Yeah, "Floyd should just fight Manny." LOL... Floyd knows that boy's style is all wrong for him and he'll end up like Roy Jones... Floyd actually wants to make the rest of the money in his Showtime contract and wants to keep his health intact... I don't care how different Maidana and Pac's styles are... if Maidana landed 220 punches on Floyd...you can better believe that Pac will land on Floyd..and it'll be lights out because Floyd will actually try to win.. he won't fight like Bradley and the rest of the guys just trying to survive....

Floyd v. Maidana will be the fight with Maidana getting a pay raise because Floyd has DIVA-d himself to only a few options...

So why did Team Mayweather make an issue of them?

If there is a "Pillows-for-gloves clause in the contract," then I'm sorry...I'm not into the fight...

          Floyd's options for September 13, 2014:

          1. Maidana
          2. Carlos Molina
          3. Ghost Guerrero (Rematch)

Or 4. Mayweather can crawl to Bob Arum, hat in hand, and beg for the Pacquiao fight so that he can revive his career after that Maidana debacle....

Dude...I gotta give ur drug dealer credit...the crack u smoke is pure!! Who in the **** wants to see Floyd fight Guerrero again????? Seriously

          2nd...Carlos Molina???? I can't even keep going no more...I can't lol :*******:

          A cotto rematch is 100000000 x's better then a Guerrero rematch u d!ck

Well, you're a complete Floydiot..I'm assuming or just clueless... If you don't think gloves matter, why did Floyd care? Why did Pac knock out Morales in the rematches when he got to wear his gloves..

The MX gloves have less padding in the knuckle area...sooo duhhhhh...obviously Maidana's punching power would be greater with less padding...it's common sense..

I've never seen a so-called ATG... cry over gloves before lol... that's a first that I know of...

Where in my post did I say I want to see any of those fights I posted? LOL.. You're the one smoking, my friend... I want to see Mayweather fight Pacquiao or Cotto, but obviously he's a coward and wouldn't even try to make either fight because he's concerned with his health and making the rest of that Showtime contract...

It'll be the Maidana rematch..Floyd will pay extra for it... for lagging on the fight..

But besides Maidana..Floyd has very little realistic options because he's a coward and hides behind excuses (You need to leave Bob Arum) to duck fights...

Because floyd is the biggest draw in the sport and with that comes power. They didn't like the gloves and used their power to get what they want.

Been done before and will be done in the future. Doesn't mean it's right when floyd does it. Doesn't mean it's wrong when he does it either.

A b1tch move is a b1tch move whether he has the power to do it or not.

Actually there is something wrong with it. It further tarnishes Floyd's legacy. Floyd is already considered (and even more so outside of the U.S.) as a guy who does anything he can to remain "undefeated" (even though that has never mattered in boxing history nor did he really beat Castillo in the first fight). Floyd is known as a guy that will avoid fights and use his bargaining leverage to gain advantages over his opponents. This all goes to the reputation Floyd has around the globe as a guy who does not fight the best opponents at their best.

Coming in overweight against Marquez and the glove issue with Maidana are very well on record as more evidence that Floyd goes out of his way to find an unfair advantage when he fights.

When other a sides choose gloves it wasn't an issue or labeled as such. Is what it is.

Power play goal counts the same as an even strength one.
