It seems like almost all fighters talk themselves up before an important fight these days. GGG's opponents all say they will beat him and he always knocks them out. Geale is ranked by most as one of the 3 or 4 best middleweights in the world and GGG's best opponent yet. At least Geale has the courage to fight him while most of the high ranked middleweights want no part of a fight with him.

Except it's been 5 months and that's because his father died..

This is going to be a WAR! GGG better pack a lunch, he's in for a long night

Geale lost to Darren Barker. All Geale's ever done is beat Felix Sturm. Big deal.

Macklin, Murray, Sturm, Barker, and Geale are all the same class of fighter, as evident by all their fights against each other and Sergio.

I didn't know they fought in the ams, interesting. That's not really a reliable indicator of what will happen here though, a good 10 yrs later and in the pros.

Golovkin should win though, I think these guys are somewhat evenly matched technically, but golovkins power should be the difference.

Geale is getting a bit underrated here. He's a well rounded boxer, only thing about him that isn't world class is his power. His no speed demon but he definitely isn't slow.

IMO he is a notch above macklin.

No not really, it's more like because they were struggling to find him opponents because everyone's ducking him.

Well he had a fight for April 26th that got cancelled so that's not really true.
