    mayweather next opponent

i think that for his sept 13 date there's no time for floyd to fight on sept less than 24 hours is july alredy and still he hasen't said anything about who he is fighting next i think mayweather will fight cotto on december cause for sept 13 theres no time left for promotion or training and he was suppose to announce his opponent the week after cotto vs martinez!! and that fight will for sure have him thinking the biggest money fight for both right now(pac not happening) and the 160 middleweight title.

There's still time, but it's running out fast. It's similar to the Guerrero fight where there was no press tour or pre-camp promotion. I'm starting to think he won't fight on that date though.

His next fight will be vs Lara in May when Lara beats Canelo in July.

Khan, then the winner of Porter/Brooks. Porter/Brooks is fighting a few weeks or a week before Floyd's next scheduled fight. I believe that's the route Haymon's going.

I'm not too sure if he will fight in September. Maybe Cotto in December at MSG for the Middleweight title? Highly unlikely but would love to see it!

It'll be Ron Salsa when he's finished with Garcia.

Last year he announced the Canelo fight towards the end of May. It's about to be July and we still haven't heard anything. I don't know if he'll even fight in September 13th at this point. That's what 10 weeks away?

I won't be surprised if he announces retirement. If he sticks around he has no choice but to pick a money fight. That would be either Cotto 2 or Canelo 2 in December. (Forget Pacquiao.)

On a sidenote, I really hope Mayweather and Pacquiao takes the rest of the year off. I'm tired of these PPV's. Canelo-Lara is the last one I'm buying no matter what
