Technically you can call boxers gay just look at Orlando Cruz. And don't get so offended its not like you are a boxer or anything even if you are gay. I know gay people get offended when others call them gay. Btw I live in Miami and have met some Cuban boxers in case you didn't know a lot of them live or train in Miami. I have also met Breidis Prescott who is Colombian and was the first to ko Amir Kahn. I have met a few trainers who train elite boxers. My brother owns a gym and gets fighters to come down to train once in a while. If you don't believe me watch yuriokis gamboa hbo 24/7 there is a scene where you can see a poster that says knockoutzone in the background. Next time think before you speak.
