It would have been poetic justice if Johnson was old cold while Makabu paraded around the ring. Very much enjoyed hearing that Johnson was stopped.

I'll never forget when Merqui Sosa showed the deepest compassion for Prince Charles Williams when he was knocked out. Merqui was in obvious pain over Williams condition.
Seriously? are you really that butt hurt about Roy getting KO'd? It was 10+ years ago, time to let it go

The point flew right over your head. I had no problem with the KO, the problem was how Johnson responded to a guy who was that badly hurt.

Everybody celebrates when KOing an opponent. Show me the last time a fighter didnt celebrate when hurting his opponent

I have seen many fights were a guy was hurt and the opponent kneeled down and showed compassion, even helping his opponent get back up. Merqui Sosa, Ebo Elder, many others. But when a guy is THAT hurt, I expect more. To each his own.

If Makabu stopped Johnson, I don't see anyone standing up to Makabu's power.

I just watched the ending. Johnson wasn't stopped hard, the ref stepped in while he was on his feet. He looked v.tired, both guys did but Makabu much more active.

Glen was probably testing the waters in efforts of earning another shot at Roy Jones but theses waters are very deep. Roy has been able to sustain which adds to his physical gift and overall talent. Cruiserweight is a bit much for the Road Warrior and if he had fought Jones at this level, he would've taken a L with Jones winning by Unanimous Decision. Johnson had a wonderful career but only a few boxers can continue and fight for a world title at over 40 ie currently BHop and Jones Jr.
