Canelo fans understand this is the last time they will see their hero undefeated. They will flock together in masses and witness history as Lara takes that 0.

Edit - Failed attempt at recalling history. Floyd claims this 0.
Its a different dynamic cause it's being sold as the two best 154lbers and rightfully so. Which means this fight is more meaningful than the Angulo fight. Therefore there's more interest.

Most definitely. Although Canelo was facing a threat in Angulo, it was a style suited well for him. Lara is a completely different monster. Angulo actually had the better shot at beating Lara. Canelo's chances are slim.

Nobody knows that but the hardcore fans like us, not the casuals who are the majority of the PPV buys....

LOL honestly I've had a good time talking shiet to you guys, maybe that mexico vs cuba thread you made a while back can actually have some relevance if lara can survive and make it a good fight.

I hear you, but it's a trickle down effect imo. Casuals get the word on how serious an opponent is. I think many, especially Canelo casual fans are bit concerned from what they've heard from their hardcore brethren.

Same here, I've had a great time on NSB throughout the years. Age and alcohol are catching up to me as I forgot the Floyd v Canelo fight!

Like I told you in a post a while back, I have childhood friend from Mexico which is part of my boxing group. He didn't come through for the Gamboa fight last night, but was texting me busting my balls.

When I post anything pertaining to the rivalry it should never be taken personal but in the spirit of competition between two great countries; Mexico and Cuba.

Yeah true, hopefully it's a damn war lol that'd be sick if they trade multiple knockdowns and there's a draw then there has to be a rematch. haah
I like having rivalry, there's nothing in sports like rivalries, what would sports be if all the same people were rooting for the same team? haha too bad mikey and gamboa didn't fight before this, idk if mikey did duck.. but without a cold war
                    Santa Cruz vs Rigo
                    Garcia vs Gamboa
                    Canelo vs Lara
                    PPV 1 million buys lol

I'm a cocky sob and keep saying it's going to be a one sided beating by Lara. I don't see Canelo handling the movement from Lara. Anything can happen though.
