A future 140 pounder beat up a future 130 pounder. Lol is what it is though. Boa took the fight and what happened happened.

I only watched what I could find on youtube, but man.... Great fight... I did expect more from Gamboa, thought he coulda possibly been a world beater but... Anywho, great performance by TC, I believe he's right, Gamboa was simply outmatched and would be wise to stay at 126/130 range, this win should open doors for TC now...

I don't think Gamboa can make 130 anymore let alone 126. I think he has matured into lightweight and he just got his ass kicked by a better fighter.

There is a reason why we have weight classes and smart fighters recognize this. This is why Guillermo Rigondeaux refuses to go past 122 lbs. He, like Gamboa is a small fighter and he knows he will be at an unfair disadvantage moving up. A fighter has know his limits but more importantly his team that he pays should know his limits.

I lay complete and total blame on his team and his inexperienced promoter, 2 quarters.

Laying all of this to the side, could something more sinister be playing out here: Is this the new Gamboa, post PEDS?

Oh get the hell out of here with that lame bull. There's nothing distasteful about this comment. Perhaps someone should warn you to stop hating and trying to rain on someone else's parade

I guarantee you Gamboa's next fight will be at 130 lbs. Lesson learned the hard way...

If he had stayed orthodox, I am not so sure that he would have been able to beat Gamboa. The speed difference was noticeable and Gamboa had him dialed in for the right hand. Crawford's ability to fight out of the southpaw stance and his ability to land those bodyshots, wore Gamboa down and the jab kept him at bay.

Gamboa should be fine at 130 or at 135 against other opposition. Crawford will go to 140 and dominate there as well I believe.

The kid is the real deal and im looking forward to seeing more of him.

The ONLY thing TC did wrong was allow his family member to come to the fight in that blue dress, she looked HORRIBLE!!!
