Why is Top Rank unwilling to have Mikael Zewski fight better opposition?

Mikael Zewski is a talented boxer who has been fighting poor opposition for too long.

It similar to the situation Gary Russell Jr was in. Mikael may be so used to fighting soft opposition, he won't be ready for adversity when it finally happens.

I'm not sure why they are reluctant to put him in with more meaningful opponents. He's an exciting fighter who belongs in main events and he's ready for legit fringe contenders now.

Let's thing you should ever question is top rank, when it comes to building there prospects.

They actually let there guys become seasoned, while also building them as future stars and ticket sellers.

Crawford last night is proof of that.

But Matt Korobov was moved too slowly and regressed.

Put him in there with Senchenko/Zaveck/Bracero.

He's about to get a meaningful fight soon some just need developing.

But it is time he won a regional belt last night that increases your rankings.

I wonder why, too. Maybe they just don't know where he will fit in just yet but 2015 has to be a step up yr for sure.

I agree, he should be fighting fringe contenders and former challengers or titleholders by now.

I see Zewski is scheduled to fight TBA again next month.
