    That crowd last night...

How awesome was that crowd? It felt like a Ricky Burns in Scotland crowd or a Carl Froch in Nottingham crowd. Just utterly epic. Not sure why promoters put guys fighting in some 500 person casino...made it an awesome atmosphere. I'm so used to Ward in Oakland type atmosphere that I didn't think the US had it in them anymore..

    Well done Omaha!!

I just don't get this switch by promoters to only doing cards in like 3 major areas. You should put the star in his hometown. You will always geta crowd like that. Boring ass dudes like Ward and Alexander were getting huge crowds.

The crowd was white with a lot of young people to. That's a good sign to add a different demo

Watch this interview. He says 99.9% of the time fighters don't deliver in their home towns.

Horrible thinking by Todd. That would mean they are overrated and have been exposed. It doesn't mean that they shouldn't continue to put these guys in their home arenas.

Yes I was also surprised by the crowd last night, but I that it was a parallel to the excitement of the fight. Why do you think guys like Froch get great crowds and guys like Ward don't? Because people like to see an exciting fight. It's not unusual for a crowd to turn on its fighter if the fight is too boring. Both guys put on a show and Omaha's fighter got the KO so the crowd is meant to go crazy.

Have you ever watched a Crawford fight? This is a guy 2 fights ago who pretty much got booed out of the building..
