Well yeah, but that's why Yuri was the underdog. He moved up, took on a very good opponent and showed how good he can be.

P4P Gamboa is the better fighter by a distance IMO, but he made the choice to move up and be at a disadvantage, it is what it is.

so everyone is gonna agree that gamboa would win if he was naturally at that weight, so in a way something is taken away from crawfords win, knowing that pound for pound gamboa is better we should expect more from gamboa and less from crawford in the future perhaps?

Gamboa would have stopped him early I imagine. P4p Gamboa is a very big puncher and it'd take a hell of a beard to not go down with what Gamboa was landing. Crawford came in bigger than de la hoya for Pac lol. Man, dude is huge.

I don't think Gamboa would stop Crawford early, personally I don't believe anyone south of 147 stops Crawford early P4P but the fight would definitely have been different. I think what Gamboa did in the first 4 rounds would have carried on and how he managed to hurt Crawford late would have translated into a late stoppage.

Crawford was just too big, too tall and his arms, damn how long are they??

Well, I think it would have accumulated. Really, Gamboa was landing what would be nukes even when he was hurt. I dont think anyone Gamboa's size wouldnt have been driven back at the very least. Hell, it Gamboa could hurt him late with crawford weighing what Canelo had to weigh for Floyd I think Crawford would have at the very least tasted the canvas. He was getting hit full on with BIG right hands. Crawford despite the length was being beaten from the outside til he realized he could walk through and just throw a heavy jab in Gamboa's direction when gamboa would punch. The weight makes a difference. Ask Chavez jr's opponents lol.
