Gamboa would still beat Mikey Garcia.

Garcia is another patient fighter who reads his opponents and capitalizes on their mistakes. Oh and he's a big puncher.

I always thought Garcia beats Gamboa, Garcia fights within his skillset, Gamboa tries stepping outside of his and gets punished for it

Garcia is a cleaner puncher than Crawford is

Mikey Garcia makes everything he does look like it comes natural, it's pretty amazing to watch the kid fight, he's one of my favorite current fighters, and a top 5 skillset P4P

Garcia didn't want it for a reason.

I really don't think Garcia is that good of a fighter and still think Gamboa stops him. A blown up Gamboa, who had been hurt, still managed to wobble Crawford, he would stop Garcia.

And hey, if Mikey actually wants to fight now, Gamboa will take it in a flash.

              Mikey is mentally weak though.

Gamboa needs to get help defensively. The Yori that fought tonight would have been stopped by Mikey Garcia as well. Gamboa just took too much time off.

You are crazy if you think he can make 126 safely, he'd be very drained at 130 and he definitely wouldn't be small at that weight either.

mickey would get caught cold and befuddled with speed. he'd fight the remaining of the rounds hesitant. in no way shape or form was mickey confident in the style of gamboa. his brothers wanted no parts of it, he wanted no parts of it, his entire team wanted nothing to do with gamboa. robert is very good with seeing what bothers his fighters (in sparring) he knows what troubles mickey. he was not confident in the style of gamboa at all because he knew the combination of power, awkward angles and speed would have reeked havoc on mickeys game..........

                      Then he needs to retire.
