IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) has no idea where the rumor first began regarding the possibility of facing WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a unification on September 13th.

Porter has a tentative date of September 6th for his mandatory defense against undefeated challenger Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs). But before the contracts were signed, there were rumors being circulated that Porter was attempting to withdraw from the fight to accept an opportunity to face Mayweather.

According to Porter he has no issue with taking the test. Brook lovers and Floyd haters started that ****** rumor. I don't know why anybody would hate Porter. He's nothing like Floyd, fighting style or his lifestyle, so why would Floyd lovers feel the need to defend him?
