If you are a lara fan I think you should pay more attention to the martirosyan fight and be a little concerned about lara's performance there.

In that fight lara got rattled by Vanes power and was gunshy most of the fight before slowly turning the tide. Canelo is a better fighter than vanes and he will make lara feel his power, if lara get's rattled like he did against vanes then canelo wins a likely UD.

"nothing happened in that fight until lara took over" this is what you'll hear from lara fans

Lara had an injured right hand in that fight. And I don't think it was injured in the fight. I think he came into the fight already injured.

Maybe you're right. Mind pointing out the punch or punches that might have done that?

There's also one major difference between Vanes and Canelo. Say what you want about Vanes, but he's 6'0 ft tall and uses distance pretty well; that can spell trouble for a fighter that's shorter and not that active.

            Interesting.

I usually hate these types of comments by fighters because there are so many variables behind the scenes (managerial, promotional, trainer, gym) that could sway an otherwise honest fight prediction.

However, this seems like an honest prediction. But hell, who knows. I'm going out on a limb here.

I expect some sneaky power from Canelo and can see these guys trading knockdowns. But in the end I also expect a Lara UD.

So ultimately, I disagree with Trout in saying that Canelo won't hit him. I expect both of these guys to find each other.

Trout makes me feel a little better about my pick, but in the end, all I want is a great action packed fight!

I think people are sleeping on Canelo a bit. Lara's got great footwork and skill yes but he has also been wobbled in several fights when hit on the chin, and Canelo has more explosive power imo.. I know Canelo isn't underestimating Lara, the question is, Is Lara underestimating Canelo?
