Pac cant jump over Floyd just because he beat Morales who was coming off a loss hiw ownself and he didnt beat Marquez. He also has losses and by KO too so how can he jump over a undefeated guy who has been a champ for 7 years

        hopkins is #1
and jones was #1 before him

and they have been fighting nobodies for ages...

oh wait hopkins fought Tito and De La Hoya... this is called taking on the best... yes the best junior welters-welters

I think hopkins is one of the few fighters who foughtr a 130titlist champ and a HWtitlist (hoya and jones)

pbf is apparently closer to the p4p top in the mind of the public now that he fights lesser fighters than when he cleaned up 130, looking incredibly good in the process

        go figure

Thats not true. He was always on the list but he had already established fighters infront of him but one by one they have lost.

Guys, are ranking what Floyd has done lately and I mean some big fights. Kind of like RJJ, around 2001 when he did some work awhile back. I had Trinind P4P #1 during the time, Tito beat DLH, Reid, Vargas and Joppy. The guy moved up in weight and fought dangerous fighters. RJJ, has a better career then Tito but what did RJJ prove during that time?

You see where I'm coming from?

Quit showing your ignorance. Evangelista Cotto is Miguel's uncle, not father.

Also, I don't think Cotto would beat Floyd right now but if he gets 3-4 more fights under his belt (which he will since Floyd isn't interrested in fighting him right now) then I give him more than a good chance at beating Floyd.

If Cotto actually would weigh in at 140 and not 155...he can never beat PBF

He does weigh in at 140, PBF is just a naturally smaller man this will be his highest, maybe 147 at a push, but Cotto will probably end up at 154 - coming in around 162, nothing wrong with that it's how the game works

Exactly! That is the game. Every fighter (except for maybe HWs) gains weight after the weigh in and before the fight. Floyd is fighting closer to his natural weight, Miguel is making the weight.

Also, don't think that the extra weight is an automatic advantage. Look at how much slower Morales was against MAB just because he came in so heavy.
