    Outstanding Fighters Missing Key Attributes

Ok, so like the title states find a great fighter that is missing a key attribute that would catapult him to new heights.

My example is Khan. He is lightning fast with stinging power and can actually box well, although he often gets dragged into brawls. That's fine and all except for his notorious chin. Now that he is fighting under Virgil he is clinching to suppress his foes onslaught which is fine and dandy until a feint or awkward angled shot lands. Clinching has its perks but it's a boring/dirty tactic in the sport that isn't penalised as often as it should be. Now, if Khan had a chin of steel and could eat bombs with his tea for brunch, then Khan would be the real deal. For now he can put on a good fight against any good quality fighters but would have a difficult time against the harder punchers that can actually box well.

No hate, just my point of view. Now I'm interested on your thoughts. Which fighter in your opinion is missing a key physical attribute that enables him to reach the elite level of the sport? Which attribute would it be(power, speed, chin or movement)? Excited to read your responses.

*Add On* Feel free to do the same with an Elite Fighter or top notch contender by removing a key attribute that would remove his status. For instance, if JJC Jr. didn't have a good chin, he wouldn't have survived in the boxing game as long as he has with the current skills he possess. Anyway back to the thread, let's hear your thoughts!

Hmmm, since you put up the Khan example I'll drop some others.

    Martinez - Durability
    Broner - Defence
    Loma - Workrate
    Canelo - Stamina
    Mayweather - Balls

Martinez is 40 years old, his durability has been fine. It's just as of late because of age that he has had injuries.

Broner's defense is actually very good when you look at his entire skill set. What Broner needs is better movement and footwork. If he moved better, then he would be 2X the fighter.

Canelo's stamina I think is over stated. He fought a hard 12 rounds with Trout and moved a lot. He never gassed in the Mayweather fight, and I think a lot of his "stamina" issues come from him having such trouble making 154.

Mayweather has balls, he is a complete fighter and the notion that Mayweather isn't a fighter, or warrior is nonsense. People say that because he doesn't brawl the way people want him to, but if he did he wouldn't be undefeated.

A better example would be Khan with a chin, or Victor Ortiz with heart.

              rigondeaux - a magentic personality

i think if rigondeaux worked on his personality and was more charismatic he'd be more marketable. he should watch guys like wlad or pacquiao who are always very charismatic and have great smiles.

a lot of ATG fighters have charismatic personalities and are easy to get a long with.
