Whats with this Latino, Mexican on Mexican holiday thing? lol.. Was there an interesting fight to be made with a white, black or other hispanic other than a mexican? Its also quite known may and September are the two PPV months in boxing, before Mayweathers time and even after his time is over... If he wasnt the top draw in the sport and claimed these dates you can bet the bank every other PPV fighter would follow the same formula, its the reason Pacquiao fights a month before, In April and a month or two after in Oct or Nov.. against... Mexicans if ppossibleComment

Okay. You didn't completely fabricate what you said. I'll give you that. But Bob Arum never made a counter offer. Posturing and making statements to the media does not equal making an offer. The writer in your bad left hook link says as much when he essentially states that Bob Arums proclamation doesn't mean anything. But I guess if Bob can use that statement to save face you can too. Here's to looking like compared to actually being one... LolComment

Whether it's Pacquaio or Floyd though, I think both of their PPV numbers will continue to take a hit because of the economy, pricing, and too many PPVs anyway.Comment

There was never a counter offer made by Bob Arum. This guy is making things up. All Arum did was try to take Mayweather's May 5th reservation at the MGM Grand when he thought Mayweather was going to jail and a lot of back pedaling when he got it postponed. Some how Bob Arum knew about Mayweather's jail time before he even made a plea arrangement with the Clark County courts. Super fishy. I always felt like Arum had something to do with all of the problems with the law Mayweather was having at that time. I still do to this day. I remember during that time that Arum would bring Mayweather's run ins with the law up every time he spoke to a member of the media. It was like he was trying to use Mayweather's legal status as a built in excuse to keep any blame from being assigned to himself and Pacquiao as to why the fight had not been made. Arum being a former state department prosecutor makes this theory not so far fetched. And when you add in his well established and famed spiteful personality we can see this as a real possibility.Comment

Floyd ducked Pac, this is a fact, Floyd today can make the fight happen now more than anyone. Pac has agreed to everything, even offered to fight for charity BEFORE he was even signed to fight Bradley and also occasions where he said he was ready. Floyd never answered on the charity offer. Floyd always makes the dumb excuses; the super strict testing, the puny $40 million offer from a $300 million potential revenue fight which included no other PPV sales and was a very small percentage of 13% of that $300 million, Floyd knew he would reject that. Floyd even today is still making excuses and his newest one is to run away from GDP. It's sad really.Comment

I know Holyfield, he picked up the phone and called you saying Manny giving him all kinds of nightmares.
You know Mayweather had to put up with all of ODH demands. If Pacquioa wants to fight Mayweather he knows what to do. Give in to all of Mayweathers demands and take the money thats offered. 40 million was way more than what he ever got from Arum!! He'll never get 50/50 split on the Mayweather fight.Comment
