Gatti vs. Ward I. That's the fight that turned me into a hardcore boxing fan.

As far as fights I've been to, Chavez Jr. vs. Martinez. Guy I was rooting for (Chavez Jr.) didn't win but atmosphere for that fight was unreal - especially in the 12th round when Chavez had Martinez in trouble.

A phenomenal fight, probably the greatest in British boxing history. I remember watching it live and struggling to process what was going on. An enthralling, amazing, disturbing fight.

I revisit it about once a year but it is an extremely difficult watch for obvious reasons. I can only cope with watching it by marvelling at the incredible courage of G-Man. There's a brilliant, haunting documentary about it too, came out a couple of years ago which no-one can watch without welling up a few times at least.

To answer the thread title question - easily Corrales vs Castillo. I explain why in my BoxingScene blo entry, though I do need to update it as I have watched it lots of times since and have more thoughts on it. It is the perfect boxing fight. I can't ask for anything more.

The topic is about YOUR favorite fight. We all know Corrales Castillo was one of the greatest fights.
