Dumbest **** ever. You can be a fan of the sport and also a fan of individual fighters. I love the sport but there are guys I root for and root against. There's also fights I watch where I couldn't care who wins, just want to see a good fight. Liking someone doesn't make you less of a fan of the sport. Being a fan of a fighter actually enhances your love of the game because it gives you more of a reason to watch. I'm interested in watching every fight, but I'll admit sometimes I have to DVR a fight here and there, but there has to be a something substantial going on for me to DVR one of my favorites fighting. It's the same as rooting for a team in football, everything is 10x more exciting if your team is a part of it

These are tough questions but who is my favorite active fighter? Im gonna go with Kovalev coz I like that he destroys people, he wants to fight the best and even Mike Tyson said he is his favorite fighter. He is exciting, true to the sport and I only hope that boxing politics don't hold him back.

Kovalev is fast becoming one of my favorites too. The guy just does his thing and causes havoc...no drama about him, his team doesn't talk trash, he just wrecks shop and moves on.
