Tyson isn't the best heavyweight of all-time but he can beat Joe Louis and Ali.

talent wise i think its louis. but he fought bums for most of career, due to lack of oposition

i think ali had more oppurtunity to prove how great he was

very close and hard to call, but i voted louis

and why is tyson up there instead of a dempsey or a tunney?

              looks more like ali-foley IMO.

ali was next to liston the whole time he was down. but when foley was knocked down for the 2nd time in round 7, i think he was on his back... maybe not though...

EDIT: o yea, that cant be liston because walcott was the ref, and that ref is white. maybe it is foley

Good eye. I didnt even see the ref until you mentioned him. lol, it's hard to see him cuz the ring canvas is so bright.

Very tough to call imo, although I would probably put Louis at number 1, due to the fact that he was just do dominant, and dominated the division for so long. To me he is the textbook for what heavyweight boxing is about, he made good fighters look horrible, he was so powerful that he knocked out fighters like Max Baer for instance, who were percieved to be iron chinned. He alongwith a young Mike Tyson were sthe best finishers ever imo, when they had you hurt, they smelled blood, and wouldn't allow you to escape that ring. I would also say that he is the best ever in regards to rematches, he may have struggled a bit with you the first time around, but the next time around he would have you figured out, and knock you out. For me, the three best were Ali, Louis, and Marciano in any order.
