Light-welterweight ace Bradley Saunders will face Frenchman Christophe Sabire on the Dereck Chisora-Tyson Fury undercard on Saturday 26th July at the Phones 4 U Arena in Manchester.

The unbeaten Sedgefield star is coming off a brilliant first round KO win over Ville Piispanen earlier this month in Newcastle to claim the WBO Intercontinental Light-Welterweight crown - his first pro title.

And the win also saw Saunders, a Beijing Olympian and 2007 World Amateur Championship Bronze medalist, break into the WBO world top 15 rankings at number 12 as looks to move fast towards a world title shot.

I don't understand this. 140 is a pretty deep division when it comes to UK fighters. Personally I'd like to see him go the British, Commonwealth, European route first. Suppose at 28 years of age his team don't want to hang around too long and miss the opportunity.
