He sure as hell wasn't scared of the ginger, considering he wanted to fight him.

Cant wait to hear what excuses Canelo will have against Lara. Hopefully Canelo has learned to cut the ring off and set traps

It's no surprise. Lara looked and sounded nervous. Everyone saw it. What's it supposed to mean? Nothing. It was a big moment, under uncomfortable circumstances. Anyone would've been anxious.
I agree that it doesn't mean anything in terms of the fight, but I will say it was a very awkward moment.

It seemed like Lara was supposed to go up there and intimidate Canelo, instead he looked like a fan waiting for an autograph...lol

Canelo never said Lara was scared of him, he just said he was scared....me personally think is ovious Lara was a little nervous but it was the stage the magnitude of the event.

Once Lara gets a glimpse of Canelo's ATG snake at the weigh in he's gonna be even more nervous. A ton of questions will pop into his mind. Does he even deserve to be in there with him? Does it bite? mainly How the fuck does Canelo make weight with a 8 1/2 lb snake?

I agree that it was more of "stage fright" than anything else. If he was so shook, the fight wouldn't have been made.

As far as the analysis of this fight - I think Lara's boxing ability will be in full display. That being said, I think this will be Alvarez coming-out party - I really think he's going to make a statement in this fight and show that he can box effectively. Mind you, I like Lara, but I feel like Alvarez is going to be very smart in this fight and win decisively. Look for Alvarez counter-punching effectively and cutting the ring off pounding hard to the body eventually wearing down Lara to a late stoppage.

I'm positive it was his manager's idea and told Lara to confront him on stage. That's probably not who Lara is and felt awkward about the whole thing.

He should have had Bernard Hopkins on his side for added confidence like Shane Mosley did lol
