Depends on what time it is. If Showtime expects me to watch Garcia fight a nobody lightweight at midnight on a Saturday, then sorry, not happening.

      Only three things are possible:

      1. He is a complete stooge for Haymon.

      2. He is a complete incompetent.

      3. Both.

I'm watching it too, but my chances of going to see the fight have dropped greatly.

If I had a Nielsen box, I'd still stream it

I've said it for a while but I think he is in deep ****. He knows this card is terrible but he has formed such a strong alliance with GBP and Haymon that it's almost like he has no say as to what they present to him. Once you give up your right to veto, what power are you able to exert exactly?

The great shame of it it all is that SHO, if they wanted to take on HBO, could have just gone toe-to-toe with them on fights from ALL promoters - instead they shacked up with GBP/Haymon, gave Mayweather an insane contract, and have got themselves into a situation that they don't have the right of veto, which is a problem when Haymon has a huge roster of fighters who all want to get paid.

Tickets are from $25 to $250. The $25's aren't worth it because who would want to sit that high up for this garbage fight. The $250's are way too steep for this **** card. Depending on where the $50 or $75 put you it might be worth it. But I would be hesitant to shell that out for this card. That's the cost of a PPV.

Good to see Danny has the balls to fight Salka. Everyone was running scared of Salk at 135 pretending he didn't exist to keep him down. The second a guy gave him a shot, an undefeated Cuban at that, Salka put him away. Now Salka has to move up a weight class to find someone else man enough to accept the challenge.

              Props to Danny Garcia!

i live in VA though and that's more time and money I gotta put into a fight I just don't care about.

I was thinking cheap good seats, like when I saw GGG 2 rows from ringside for 85 bucks... but I highly doubt they do it for this, lol

You're just looking at it in a negative way. Garcia is not a sellout. He does respect his roots.

Garcia vs Peterson should happen late this year, also make Alexander vs Guerrero.
