i actually watched tape of salka. not only does he have no power, he's not all that fast, and has some bad/lazy habits. he tries to box.



think this is an attempt at getting danny tuned up after losing to a boxer in herrera. i have no issues with that.


i have issues with the lineal champion at 140 lbs fighting somebody who isn't even in the top 50. i have issues with this fight being on showtime, which costs me a lot of money each month.

i have issues with the promotion acting like i'm ******, and that it is OK for them to do this to me.

i have serious issues with this fight.

Man, I have a sneaking su****ion that Haymon and Schaefer are in collusion with this, and **** is still very much in the picture but operating in the background. There's no way Schaefer would just leave like that. Their plan to form their own company is still very much alive and they are saving the best or better fights for themselves. I've been noticing that they're not trying hard to make their fighters fight each other. They could have done Broner vs Mattysse very easily and many other potential box office hits. They're also trying to make Hoya look bad. But who are they fooling? If anything, Showtime is getting the brunt of the damage, not GBP.

Uhhhhhh yea cause Matthysse had a HORRIBLE gash on him. And Broner is suspended by a sanctioning body not the commission. Which means he can still fight just not for the belt (the WBC).

we all do. this is a terrible card that shouldn't even be put on. My guess is GBP's contract with the Barclays requires them to put on a card every x amount of days/months and this card seems like it has been thrown together without any rhyme or reason.
