Salka with 3kos shouldn't be allowed to have a boxing license with them pillow hands. For those saying Garcia deserves a 'soft touch' for once.... well Mauricio Herrera was supposed to be that soft touch months ago. We saw same type of comments then that we see now and Danny had all sorts of problems with that fight and many thought he lost that fight (including myself). So there's really no justification to fighting Rod Salka, this guy isn't even ranked in the top 50 by boxrec. Could you imagine if GGG faced a guy ranked no.77 the type of backlash he would receive?

This is a Gary Russell type of opponent selection by Garcia. People need to be on his ass for this.

Why didn't they just make Garcia-Peterson, wasting everybody's time with these crap cards.

Peterson got that IBF belt hostage. He got KTFO by Matthyse and decided to make sure he doesn't lose ever again because if he does it's curtains.

Watch we see the purses and we see that Garcia made $1.2 million, Peterson $750k
, the lighting rod guy $10k and the Cuban Figueroa $5k but would be surprising Jacobs $250k and the Australian guy he's fighting a free trip to the states.

Of course, Peterson would want to be paid astronomical sums for fighting Garcia. Same thing with Garcia. Sums that SHO can't afford. This is the damaging result of overpaying fighters for fighting C-level opponents. It's irreparable. Fights fans want to see never happen. We will see more of these fights for years to come as long as Haymon is in control.
