WBC silver welterweight champion Amir Khan (29-3, 19 KOs) is prepared to face his domestic rival Kell Brook (32-0, 22 KOs) - if Brook is able to beat IBF champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15 KOs) in the fall. If Brook walks away with the victory, then Khan says the circumstances would be right for them to face each other within a year's time.
Brook, and his promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom, have tried to secure a fight with Khan for the last twelve months. Khan believes Brook has a padded record with no respectable wins, but a victory over Porter would change that viewpoint.
