I've grown to love Al Berstein's commentary. He's great at analyzing fights/fighters and he does it in such matter of fact way; he never overdoes it (like a Teddy Atlas per se). I also like his enthusiasm for the sport. The guy genuinely loves boxing and it shows in his commentary

No internet youtube video analysts or your homie from the barbershop. Im talking about people in tv. they can include former boxers as well.
      Howard Cosell!!!!

Mario Lopez. He used to do a great job commentating and translating on the Golden Boy PPV's a while back. Hopefully HBO or Showtime picks him up in the near future.

I think Paulie could take the torch. Ward is actually good but hes just not very enthusiastic.

I think there's so many good boxing analyst out there you almost have to judge them on how much of their **** you can take. I like Teddy and he knows his stuff but damn it that man can get on nerves some times. Al is such a gentleman about everything, he's so knowledgeable and doesn't tend to get over-excited. I can listen to him for far longer than Teddy's rants.

for me it was larry merchant but i gotta agree with a lot of people here with al bernstein.

at first glance, he has a face of an utterly corrupt businessman but he is very honest and objective when it comes to boxing analysis.
