I like Provodnikov, but Algieri could read him like a book after that first round, he would lure him in by backing into the ropes, wait on Provo to load up then either duck out of the shot or dive in and bump him to get inside the shot and land a shot on the way out, Provo looked like an amatuer after the first round. I think Algieri would do better in a rematch. Provo needs to stick with guys that want to stand and trade shots.

Agreed on all points. Still not interested in seeing a Provo rematch. Both fighters should just move on.

Provodnikov's arguably unbeaten. He'd be 3-0 against Herrera, Bradley and Algieri if he was a hometown fighter but he has to do it all the hard way on the road.

Easy to back fighters who always have the refs, judges and crowds onside.

I think Prov won the first time. He just needs to work his way in better.

I thought it was an easy fight to score and I still can't believe that anyone thought that Ruslan won that fight.

Provo said he wants Matthysse and Maidana because they would be crowd pleasin fights. Report that. Come on Boxing media, put pressure on the promoters and networks to give us the fights we want.

Provod is o e dimensional. His dam trainer is one dimensional too. Same results in the rematch without the knock downs

Provo said in an interview after the fight, that HE knows fighters with Algieri style is difficult for him and he doesnt want to fight that style of fighter. Basically boxers give him problems, problem is.....this is called BOXING. He's a mindless brawler so he needs other mindless brawlers. Too bad he's in a sport called BOXING.

Provo doesnt want that rematch. Thats what his people want. He knows what the outcome will be. He hit Algeiri with everything he had and couldnt even drop him after the first round let alone ko him. Im with Provo, he shoukd stay away from this rematch

He would have went 3-0 in those fights if he had actually out boxed those guys but he didnt and they were smart enough not to stand nd slug it out with him except for Bradley who didnt utilize his boxing ability to the fullest. Provodnikov is a great fighter imo but like every other fighter in the world he has his limitations and his show up big time against guys who move and box well.
