    Just over a week ago Ruslan Provodnikov stunning lost his WBO junior welterweight title by split decision against unheralded Chris Algieri.

    Provodnikov dropped to 23-3 with 16 stoppages at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY. Although Max De Luca voted 117-109 in favor of the “Siberian Rocky” he was outvoted by Don Trella and Max Shreck who had Algieri winning 114-112 twice. [Click Here To Read More]

    Ruslan has been chasing Manny Pac for yrs in the ring in sparring sessions. Fighting Chris I thought would be a easier challenge for him

        No chasing Manny Pac in the ring, Manny has the fastest feet in the game. Manny will turn and fire on your arse all day long - Algiere is good, but a good jab will disrupt his rythem this us why boxing ia such a beautiful sport - you have to stay focused meaning dont throw the jab 2 or 3 times a round or 2 or 3 times every other round - you have to pump it out there consistently, make them adjust all night long - that take focus, this is why Alexander is so good, because he lulls you with his consistent attack - lots of focus in there

              the fact people thought provo was the real deal just shows the state of boxing fans nothing wrong with it but they consider entertaining fighters to be the most talented when its obviously not so
