Told that #CottoMartinez will end up in the 300-315K buy range. The Kings/Rangers Stanley Cup final was a disastrous counter program.

I just laugh at the proposition that a hockey game kept people from paying $70 to watch a boxing match. It really is comical. The excuses people come up with sometimes are really grand.
I actually watch hockey, unlike 90% of America, and I was at the bar watching Cotto-Martinez. $10 cover charge, although I snuck my ass in without paying it.

Only Pac and Floyd can break 500k
The decline in boxing has led from them not fighting. People got tired of the best not fighting the best.
If they had met in the ring the amount of hype it would have generated would have been phenomenal. Boxing would have been back on the front pages.

so where are all the people that made all those threads and post about Floyd would have to move his date if Cotto-Canelo fought eachother or Chavez-Froch? Its a joke. Cotto vs Sergio and Canelo vs Angulo combined didnt even come close to what Floyd does when everyone says he bombed on a PPV. Arum very quickly changed the date on Chavez-Froch. He's not ******Comment

It's true. Boxing has WAAAAY too many PPV these days with fights that aren't even PPV worthy. Let's be honest. Just because some fighters have "made" it doesn't mean, the opponents they are choosing to face equal PPV worthy. Fraud Jr. is guilty all to hell with this. His opponents such as Ortiz, Guerrero, or even Maidana shouldn't have been PPV worthy. They weren't super fights by any means.
I won't say Pacquiao isn't guilty of this because he is as well.
Cotto-Martinez you can say was a decent fight worthy of PPV just because Cotto has been a decent draw for quite some time and Martinez was the middleweight King, but in the end the people have spoke when the sales are down.
I remember watching just a few years ago some really awesome fights that should of been PPV and weren't. Pavlik vs Taylor 1? Should of been. V. Klitscko vs Sanders? They had PPV worthy atmosphere but were just on regular HBO. I mean, I could go on and on but I'm about to pass the *** out.
Bottom line is that we are getting basically ***** served on a silver platter and expected to accept it as PPV worthy when it's not and hasn't been for a long time. I honestly can't even think of too many recent WORTHY PPV fights...Comment

I disagree. Floyd & Pac are established stars. No matter what you think, any solid opponent should infact be PPV and the numbers clearly back that up. Other fighters, not so much. Also, neither Wlad or Sanders are American. No one in American is going to buy that PPVIt's true. Boxing has WAAAAY too many PPV these days with fights that aren't even PPV worthy. Let's be honest.
