Like someone said he's 30 and I can't see him beating Garcia, Matthysse, or Herrera. Forget the Pac fight, if he takes that he'll be remembered by those celebs as the guy that got his ass whooped by Manny.

I think Garcia and Matthysse have a great chance of knocking him out. How will he be mainstream if he can't be a reigning champ?

You know I was just thinking that my self. If Algeri wants to expand his name I say he goes after Garcia & unify that'll take him to another level. Like you said he has trouble with those guys & I can see Algeri out boxing him easy 9-3 rds.

Get real. Algieri is boring as heck to watch and no one knows who he is outside of hardcore boxing fans that visit internet forums.

I say he lands the Pac fight. It would sell for sure! You can lie and say you wont buy it but its bs.....people would think Algieri is so overhyped they will watch just to see him lose, and his fans to see him win. He will attract a CRAZY amount of casual fans. This kid will be at White House with ***** promoting his charities and nutrition and stuff. Watch

The average age of Fox News viewers is 68. No b/s either that's a true, current statistic.

Anyways I do think he has the potential to get some crossover appeal to casuals. In my opinion he should take a solid contender for a defense and then when he's ready to cash out, enter the Mayweather sweepstakes. I think that could be bigger than him vs. Pac, but he'd better make sure he doesn't get a Maidana-type split of PPV if he even got selected.

Bhop is 50 years old man, Chris keeps himself in good health and conditioning he has better gas tank than most 20 year olds.

He can retire at 37 he has a good 7 years.

why not? It makes business sense. Hold the fight in China and put algieri all over espn and fox doing interviews, maybe get him a GQ cover story. Hes never lost. Never lost as a World Champion Kickboxer either. Has 40 pro fights and has never lost. NY media would hype him up like crazy = alot of ppv buys. No Promotional conflict. Not a physically dangerous fight for Pac. This is a business and this fight can be sold. Maybe some dont want to see it BUT that doesnt mean it wont sell. Pair it with a good co main event and people will buy...even those here who say they wont would buy out of morbid curiousity. TV/Media exposure equals $$$
