The fact that I didn't hear anything from sky made me realise that the fight isn't happening.
You can't get that til it's confirmed

Typical Puffed Up Protected Euro; They Don't Want Porter, That's The Problem!

Brook has been across the pond padding an inflated record with all these KO's of tomato cans, yelling for a big pay day, a title shot, then they make him a mandatory defense against Porter after his train wreck of Paulie Mags who Cotto didn't even handle that easy, and now Brook & Co. Are getting cold feet. Just as well sign and get your payday and the fight over with because life isn't getting any easier. You've beaten nobody so you don't deserve Pacquiao or Mayweather. If you're scared of Porter, maybe Thurman or Maidana or Provodnikov sound like 'walk in the park' options to you! LOL. Team Kell Brook are gutless.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Brook is full of crap. Given his track record of pulling out of title fights and making excuses that he isn't getting a title shot, I'll say he's stalling.

"I don't think they wanted to take the chance with the date being 8 weeks away".

Uh....Brook has been in training for weeks already.

Porter's dad is full of ****.

Before you complain that Brook isn't deserving, what did Porter do to earn a shot? He's done well after he won but did he **** deserve it.

Porter's dad who made the statement probably hasn't seen Brooks contact signed so what he's saying isn't technically a lie, why would he need to? Golden Boy are handling that. He didn't mention if Porter had signed either.

I think it's probably just part of mind games from Porters camp and the fight will probably happen. I reckon the only way Porter-Brook won't happen is if Porter vacates his title to fight Mayweather or pacquiao. Everyone who's saying **** like Brook's a fraud or saying he's pulling out are ****ing idiots. He had to pull out from the Alexander fight with a broken foot and don't forget Alexander had to pull out with a torn bicep too, no ****** is going to go into a fight with a serious injury. If Porter does pull out for a bigger fight then good for him, there's nothing wrong with that. Brook will be fgihting for the IBF title this year whatever Porter does.

Just off the phone to @GoldenBoyBoxing lawyer who confirmed he has fully executed contracts for the fight & so does the IBF @ShowtimeShawnP

I'd like to see the winner of Porter-Brook (if it happens), fight Floyd in a unification bout.

With all due respect, reread the article, he said THEY or the FIGHT was pulled from the date, meaning SHowtime pulled them from the date, meaning there is no signed contract because a signed contract puts the ball in motion. It does not matter how long Brooks has been training, the networks have lost faith in him. Soon his fans..
