If Gamboa tries to box Crawford he'll get outpointed he should try to close distance get shots off slide out keeping him defensive,

This fight will likely have lulls of inactivity/ hardcore staring contest hopefully mixed with some furious exchanges not just single potshots/range finders.

It has the possibility to be entertaining or dull. probably both.

I don't think Crawford is very good offensively. He has to very clearly shift his approach when he switches from offense to defense or the other way around. If Gamboa can keep him defensive and exploit those wide punches Crawford throws, he'll win.

As long as he fights at 135, you'll never see that Gamboa again. He learned that the hard way against Farenas.

Gamboa can out **** Crawford or outbox him. I just hope he is focused and determined to take home that belt. Realistically, so many people talk **** about Gamboa that all of the pressure is on Crawford especially with it being the first big fight in Omaha in such a long time.

That's what I'm afraid of. And this talk of "exploiting weaknesses" smacks of technical fighting, which Gamboa is quite pedestrian at.

U may have this Gamboa's resume' mixed up with another. Check boxrec dude. Gamboa fought alot of credible guys and most guys he beat pretty easily. Lastly Gamboa still fights the same as he always has. His flaws have always been there and he always finds a way to win. I have always felt that he fights up or down to his opposition and it annoys the heck outta me as a fan of his.

Don't be surprised if Gamboa gets ko'd.

My point exactly. I know I might catch heat for stating this but I think Gamboa is gifted athlete but a seriously overated boxer.
