It's a tough fight to predict.
No I'm sticking with Canelo, but think style wise Lara has the advantage because he won't come forward and Canelo will have to.

You nailed it when you said can Canelo cut the ring off. We dont' know, Canelo's style is to counter punch, not be aggressive. Most see him as this KO puncher, but it's not because of his aggressive style. It's because of his raw power.

I just think in the end, he will hurt Lara.

I was also counting on Gary Russel Jr to win but I knew Loma had the goods. The better fighter won and I think Loma has a wider array of weapons to chose from while GR Jr relies so much on just one, speed.

Guerrero chose the wrong fight strategically but the perfect won for entertainment value. I was going for Kamegai but I'm glad The Ghost one and I think Kamegai has a lot of fights to come where he can display his heart even further. For one I think Soto-Karass vs Kamegai would be a barn burner and Alexander vs Guerrero would be just as entertaining if they both choose to brawl it out***8230;. since you know, their power is limited so they won't mind throwing as much leather as they can if a war breaks out. I think it would be like Figueroa vs Arakawa, where both fighters hit each other with everything but didn't seem to posses enough power to knock each other out.
Karass vs Kamegai might end in death.....LOL

However, you said that Soto-Karass impressed you but Alexander didn't??? Come on man, that was one of Devon's better performances. He even made it exciting and wasn't boring at all.
Alexander was clearly the better man, I just think he fought ******. I'm coming from a tactical point of view, not one of a fan.

Alexander could have dominated Karass, and didn't. He chose to stand with him a lot and that was ******. Saying that, I was impressed with Karass because of his balls...lol he's just fun to watch man. Especially when you see how limited he really is.

The most disturbing part of the whole night was Lisa Giampa losing her eye glasses.

i'm not the biggest Devon fan but to see him abandon his punch-then-clinch approach is a breath of fresh air

I think he dominated Karass pretty clearly. The only negatives I could see are that Alexander neglected his defense in spots but the tradeoff was that he was more exciting which is what the fans claim they want to see.

Also Devon isn't the biggest of punchers at 147 while Karass has a good chin.

Other than that his performance was relatively flawless though.

No, you are right, Alexander dominated him I just don't llike the way he just stood in front of him unnecessary. Then again, Guerrero did the same.

Exciting for the fans, but as a trainer I cringed. I was wondering why he would do that? Karrass can **** and if he would have caught Alexander clean the way he did Berto, he could have hurt him.
