This may shock you but............Cotto is human...lol
That means he makes hypocritical statements, seizes opportunities, and makes a lot of money off all those fights. Prior to Cotto , Delvin was stopped one time in the 8th round in all his career, I'd say Cottos showing against him was good. However and under whatever circumstance Tony lost, he deserved the beating and less money. And I'm so tired of Martinez excuses.
WE ALL KNEW ABOT THE KNEES AND WE ALL STILL THOUGHT MARTINEZ WAS GONNA END COTTOS CAREER....didn't happen..enough. And wasn't Yuri unbeaten when he lost to Cotto? He wasn't great but he's no bum either....besides, with the exception of Martinez, these wins aren't what make Cotto great.
We forget that Cotto is the type of fighter that keeps even US the hardcore fans happy by fighting any and everyone out there...damned if you do and damned if you don't.Comment

cotto to me is a hall of famer no questions but hes not tito trinidad under no circumstance. trinidad has less titles at diff weights but hes legitimately beaten guys like whitaker, vargas ,oba carr(highly underated) and others, cotto is made to look great by winning paper titles vs gimps at different weights. styles make fights and any top notch fighter should beat guys like trouts azz. cotto vs delvin is a showcase fight for hbo to illusion the fans that cotto is better than hes before. thats nonsense. prime cotto is better than roach cotto .cotto can still fight. hes a hall of famer to me but i still remember cotto looking silly vs mayorga at cottos peak but to cottos will, cotto k.o'd mayorga. trinidad not prime and retired beat the crap outta a super mayorga in his prime. mayorga was in his prime . cottos best win was old version mosley(mosley not in downfall though)cotto should fighgt ggg to prove hes the real deal.cotto defeating ggg will prove that the win vs martinez wasnt smokes and mirrors . martinez was injured and gimped up, trout sukks. trout beat cotto convincingly to me. delvin sukks tooComment

you using profanity and getting upset over(non cotto fans and nonbiased fans) stating that cotto defeating gimp martinez is a paper title. im a morales fan and morales defeating cano was a paper title for morales. you saw what happened to morales vs garcia(a puerto rican prospect at the time) morales fought nice but it showed that morales was given a chance for a easy paper title just like cotto defeating 2 gimps in different weights. cotto will prove hes worthy middleweight if hes capable of beating guys like ggg. i still remember cotto losing to trout and thats a fact. i for some reason think trout is a bum. maybe hes not. who knows but delvin is a true bum . cotto is a hall of famer easily and shoulda easily defeated trout in my view.Comment

Also As you degrade Morales as a nobody, he just went a competitive 12 rounds with Maidona and beat Cano. I like Morales and understand that he was at the end of his career but he was no pushover and he lost PERIOD and ugly too.
