If he beats Donaire then surely he will be ranked top 5 in P4P ranking by most Cuban Rigo nuthuggers?
At this stage in their respective careers and with a couple more good quality opponents under his belt, I think Loma can beat Donaire, the once great Philipino is dangerously close to being a shot fighter.

Loma hits hard enough, is quick and will catch Donaire on his way in, especially now that he is so slow but Donaire still has the fight changing power, something the likes of which Loma will never have felt, so that's still a game changer.

Donaire wouldn't be able to take the body shots that Russell took last night. He has always been soft to the body. I think Loma puts a beating on him

It's way too soon for Lomachenko to even think about fighting the likes of Donaire or Rigondeaux.

He needs to defend his WBO title a couple of times and gain more pro experience.

And I wouldn't give him much credit for beating Donaire anyway. Donaire is damaged goods at this point.

          This.

Russel toughness was on display last night. He took some big shots and never mentally checked himself out. He has championship qualities in him.

Donaire is a mentally weak fighter. No chance he'll last the distance with Lomo.

So it seems most agree that Lomachenko probably could beat Donaire.

I doubt I'd of ever said that If the Rigo vs Donaire fight never happened because most would of been bought into the hype and Donaire would of had a high P4P ranking.
Donaire struggles with people who wont stand in front of him...
I see the fight being similiar to Rigo vs Donaire besides possibly a little bit more action not as big of a schooling in other words.

I never really downplayed Walters, I think he is a good fighter but we've yet to really see him go 12rds or have a real competitive fight.

Speaking of Walters, he should fight Gonzalez. That would be a fun fight.

Uhm, no, i think Lomo would fight cautiously, stick the jab and move.
I can see him win by decision if he stays disciplined for 12 rounds.

Donaire is a big puncher, if Lomo gets oveconfident and tries to go for the K.O. that left hook might land flush. And that'd be a huge game changer.

Good fight for Lomachenko I think, Donaire is the one featherweight less active than Lomachenko and beating Lomachenko with one punch is going to be a difficult task.

So let me get this straight.. Donaire loses to one of the very best P4P fighters in Rigo and now he's a bum? He's still a top 10-15 P4P fighter and would be another huge step up fight for Lomo... Russell Jr was another Al Haymon over protected tomato can beater.

We're not saying Donaire is a bum. We're saying he's damaged goods. What does Lomachenko gain by beating Rigondeaux's leftovers?
