So he has to beat a Light Middleweight to fight a Welterweight? HAHAHAHA

I knew a lot of the Welterweights would try to freeze him out and force him to 154, they did the same **** to Paul Williams after he beat Margarito

So if Thurman end up fighting a bum his next fight...DON'T BLAME HIM blame the other Welterweights who clearly wants nothing to do with him and to be honest I can't blame them. He is a BIG Welterweight at least in this ERA if Boxing and his Power is scary.

Guerrero is not even a Draw or a Big Money Fight to be making demands like this which is even more Pathetic

Come on people. This fight will never happen unless Showtime puts serious money into it. But then why would they unless it's PPV, which is not guaranteed to do well in numbers. This is a very expensive fight. SHO is not HBO.

You should wake up and smell the coffee. No one is ducking or has ducked Thurman. That is simply the excuse Richard Schafer used to avoid putting him in the ring with an opponent who would beat him. that was Schafer's modus operandi. Put guys he wanted to push in the ring with soft opposition until he could build them up and get them a title shot. He has done the same thing with Saul Alvarez, Deontay Wilder and Gary Russell Jr. In fact, he didn't want Alvarez to fight Trout before the Mayweather fight. He want to put Alvarez in the ring with another easy opponent to avoid a potential loss.

Devon Alexander has fought guys at 140 and 147 who are bigger punchers and rated higher than Thurman. So has Maidana and Guerrero. Why the hell would they duck Thurman? Thurman is a protected nobody and will be exposed as soon as he gets in the ring with a quality opponent, just like Gary Russell Jr. and Alvarez have and Wilder will later this year.

Malinaggi turned down the fight, Maidana agreed to the fight then pulled out after they saw tape of Thurman (there was an article on Bscene about this). Porter turned down the fight, Guerrero turned down the fight, Guerrero is now acting like he doesnt know who Thurman is. Guerrero said the money wasnt right but although his purse wasnt released for his last fight most if not all observers are sure it was far less then he would have made against Thurman, being that Thurman is a far larger star the Komegai. So call it what you will, and talk $.hit if you want but an attempt to get Thurman in the ring with top opposition has been made and no one has accepted.

                    As always these are facts.

big_james10 is right, doe. Thurman is where he is today because he was protected from harm's way. Lopez's resume alone would blow Thurman's out of the water. Where was he hiding when serious competitions are taking place? Who did he beat exactly? If you're a named fighter who's been through fighting recognized names why would you fight Thurman? Isn't he supposed to go through what you went through first?
