That said Bursak isn't a walkover - what worries me more is Martins performance against seasoned journeyman Khomitsky (against whom he could easily have taken a loss or draw in a neutral venue) and designated victim Tetteh - who he should on paper have annihilated.

I've yet to watch tonights fight, but Martin will have to really impress to make up for his last coupla performances IMO. It appears that Murray may be being lined up as a Golovkin opponent for next year - and he certainly is a decent opponent - but I'm not convinced he's really a top class contender.

Actually Murray vs Rubio would make an interesting, (tho' potentially unexciting) matchup.
see, what you've said just makes my point all the more clear, Murray can't pull the trigger. He has the physical tools, the skill and the size to be a very good middleweight but he just lacks in that something extra.

In a Sky Sports interview he said that he is learning to finish off fights better (this was after his loss to Martinez) but he hasn't really shown it. Rubio is a grizzled fighter who, is anything, knows how to win and I think he'd beat Murray.
