When the greats battle other greats they are capable of defeat and are defeated. It's what you do after your defeated that adds to their greatness.
When Robinson was defeated by Jake he didn't let it happen again.
greats can win over each other. Just because you see guys today ducking their best competition this fan base has been blinded by the "undefeated record" BS!
Being undefeated can be very impressive but the greatest fighters ever are not undefeated!

When the best fight the best (when their at their best) losses do occur!
Don't compare Floyds record or talent to Robinsons, when Ray first loss he was 102-0 compare that to Floyds 40 whatever and 0!
Archie Moore has three times as many knockout wins than Floyd has fights!!!
The best do loose sonny it has nothing to do with longevity its only one night in the history of a man.

Ali,Robinson,Armstrong etc. are off the top 5 because they lost.The greatest
fighters in the world are world champions that never lost.Every fight in a fighters
career counts.We can't count some fights in a boxers career and not others.
When a fighter loses,his opponent is better so he cannot be the best.These
undefeated champions never lost so they are the greatest fighters of all times.
Resume means nothing;you either win or lose.Every opponent is dangerous.
Ali lost to Spinks,Tyson lost to Douglas..the list goes on and on.The important
thing is that a fighter beats every opponent,every time!!
