I'm sick of seeing these ****** fights where they get these crappy Mexican cab drivers and put them in the ring in the Philippines, and claim it's going to be a competitive bout. It's farken pathetic and these promotional companies aught to be ashamed of themselves. for farksake, organise a fight with boxers that can win a fight........ But than again, boxing is what it is, and it's sheet like this that has put this antiquated sport in the rotting condition it is in now.

THIS. Hell, Brian Viloria has a semi-recent interview in which he stated the same feeling towards Pinoys being mismatched and underpaid in Mexico. He said that he feels it's wrong and he wants to see something done about it because many Filipino fighters are promised a certain amount, and once they arrive in Mexico they are underpaid. That! I believe because fights at smaller venues are shady as all hell. It's showcasing my friend and that builds up fighters at home before being shipped out to the masses. You also have to think, these smaller promoters don't have the power to pull more than 1 or 2 big names a year, so they need to be realistic and try to make their fights as competitive as they can with what little they have to work with.
