Don't think the fans really want to see Pac/Marquez 5. The "hail mary" lucky punch gave Marquez his legacy so he should retire and count his blessings. Those carrot legs and his upper body do not match at all and in fairness I can't say for sure if there was shady practice but IMHO if he does fight again then he needs to be tested for PED's BIG TIME! Boxing does not need more cheating...Margarito was bad enough.

Provodnikov IS NOT a Top Rank fighter. He is promoted by Artie Pelullo of Banner Promotions. Why do you think the Rios/Provodnikov fight got shut down so quickly?

Wow....didnt know who wrote this article until I read the last part..

The consensus is that Marquez, who refused to face Pacquiao for a $13-million fee, but instead faced Timothy Bradley and lost a 12-round decision, is pricing himself out of the market because he doesn’t wish to undergo the mandatory drug tests conducted by the Volunteer Anti Doping Agency.

Koncz earlier told BoxingScene/Manila Standard they would insist on the random drug tests, following the outcome of their last fight in which Marquez looked unusually big and strong in coming back from the brink of being knocked out in Round 5 to score an unbelievable sixth-round knockout.

I'm surprised Ronnie didn't start off with fighter of the decade.

That Marquez jab was a joke

Anyways, Marquez wants to extend his legacy, after all the "concensus" say that he's only famous because of Pacquiao, so now is the time for Marquez to face other opponents and do just that.
I think he did and lost to bradley.

against pac no vada and marquez won. Against bradley with vada marquez lost. Against Alvarado no vada and marquez won. Now against pac no vada. Do you see a pattern?

the pac win is the only reason why some people think he's great. He couldn't even beat a pillow slapper bradley or Chris John. Denying vada is su****ious. I know you will say pac denied it against mayweather but that was a matter of pride. Floyd makes demands to get a psychological upper hand just like he did with maidana. All pac fights are with vada testing now but floyd is using the promoter excuse. Marquez did vada with bradley and lost then beat Alvarado with no vada.

Marquez wants $20 million. If Pacquiao is too cheap to give that to him then so be it, but don't try to slander Juan by blaming drug testing for why this fight isn't happening.

                      Shameful article from Ronnie.
