Comments Thread For: Guerrero on Possible Fights With Garcia, Thurman, Floyd

After a 13 month absence from the ring, Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero will make his return this Saturday night as he takes on Yoshihiro Kamegai at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, CA.

Guerrero’s last fight was on May of 2013 when he suffered a loss to Floyd Mayweather as he now hopes to bounce back and get right back in the mix of things.

Guerrero is fortunate enough to be in the Welterweight division which is one of boxing’s deeper weight classes at the moment. Assuming Guerrero takes care of business against Kamegai, he’s looking to fight the best and biggest names available which include a rematch and an opponent moving up.

Campaigning for another Floyd fight? That fight would do about 100 buys. I don't know anyone in their right mind who watched the first shutout that would ever pay to see that again

Noticed how when TBE and Swift was mention, he immediately jump on the possibility of fighting them but when One Time was mentioned, he was like "Sure, down the line, it would be a BIG FIGHT"

What has happened to this guy, he is tarnishing his legacy.

I was just about to say the same thing. He's not trying to fight Thurman right now.

Once Floyd announces who he is fighting (if he's even fighting) then the other fighters at 147 will start making big fights with each other for the fall. I expect Guerrero to target Khan, Alexander, or Danny Garcia. He should also try to get a fight with Porter.

Guerrero won't get a shot at Floyd again. He's delusional for even thinking he will. He'd be lucky to even get a slot on Floyd's undercard.

Yeah im starting to think Guerrero wants no part of Thurman .DOWN THE LINE ? Why not just say NOT NOW ! Plus Guerrero didnt do anything in the first Floyd fight to constitute a rematch. Dudes lucky he got the fight imo.

What?!?! You mean to tell me the TBE isn't a draw? Come on dude.. he would at least do 500... not 500k either.. I've said it all along that this dude is just living off of other's fanbase.. DLH, Canelo, Cotto, Hatton, Gatti are/were all proven draws.. but flo'mo's won't mention.. Baldomir, Judah (even though I think that one did good), guerrero, and maidana.. I mean even Victor Ortiz sold out Staples Cntr.. when he quit.. ha ha!!

I think guerrero is delusional.. he thinks just cause he fought mayweather for big bucks he's only entitled to big money fights.. ha ha.. and Thurman is too much risk for so little reward at this point..

make kahn vs Thurman.. that way we get rid of the con artist for good.. and One time gets decent exposure.. or the con artist proves he's back and one time is just that a one hit wonder.. ha ha!
